"Once Upon a Time...Happily Never After" is a Spanish Netflix original musical series created and directed by Manolo Caro. Blending fantasy, comedy, and iconic Spanish and Latin American pop music, the series reimagines classic fairy tales through a vibrant and visually distinctive world.
For this production, motion graphics were developed for the main title sequence, creating animated graphic elements designed to integrate seamlessly into scenes selected by the director. Inspired by the series' magical atmosphere, the design embraces bold color contrasts and whimsical visual treatments that reinforce its fairytale aesthetic.
Additional motion graphics were created for the final dance sequence, supporting the story's celebratory ending with dynamic visuals that enhance the energy and spectacle of the performance.
The end credits sequence and main title features the Billionaire typeface, selected for its elegant, sophisticated, and vintage-inspired character. Together, the title design, motion graphics, and typography form a cohesive visual system that complements the series' playful, cinematic identity while elevating its storytelling through motion.
